EDGE 2009 Enhancing Diversity in Graduate Education



Are you ready for the challenges of a doctoral program in the mathematical sciences?

About EDGE
The Enhancing Diversity in Graduate Education (EDGE) Program invites women to participate in a post baccalaureate summer enrichment program designed to enhance their ability to successfully complete graduate programs in the mathematical sciences.

The summer program provides:

  • Courses in analysis and algebra/linear algebra
  • Minicourses in pure and applied mathematical research
  • Guest lecturers from academia and industry
  • Graduate student mentors
  • Problem solving sessions
  • Travel, living accommodations and a stipend

A follow-up mentoring program provides a continuous support network throughout graduate studies. See program information page for details.
